The project was to bring water to the Las Manzanas School.
Clifford reports:
I am very happy to announce the successful completion of the water Project at the school Las Manzanas in the town of Cabrican, Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, Central America!
The Padres de Familia (parents of the school children in this community) worked very hard for this project, digging and connecting tubes that extend more than half a mile from the water source, to the school.
Connection was made to the community water source up the hill, and piping was installed to bring water to the school, for use in the existing including handwashing stations, bathrooms, sinks, faucets, and water tanks.
The community and I are very grateful to Water Charity. Some key quotes from the community members were the following:
“Please thank your friends in the United States for me. Because of their help, now my son will not be sick and miss school all the time”!
