The project was to purchase and install a water filter in the kitchen of the Charity Organization Eco-Mercy.
Catherine reports:
This project purchased and installed a water filter in the kitchen of the Charity Organization Eco-Mercy to provide clean cooking and drinking water for the Youth Soup Kitchen as well as support the Event Catering social business.
The project also purchased a water testing kit to visually demonstrate the water quality and the importance of clean water. The test kit was used by a 10th-grade chemistry class. They tested the water before and after the filter and created a few educational posters that are now hanging near the water filter.
The project was successful. Thank you so much for providing this opportunity. It has made, and will continue to make, a difference.
We extend our thanks to Catherine for completing the project and to The Soneva SLOW LIFE Trust for providing the funding.
