Conclusion of Ulaanbaatar Child Care and Development Center Water Purification Project – Mongolia

This project has been completed under the direction of Peace Corps Volunteer Response Volunteer Esayas Wureta. To read about the beginning of the project, CLICK HERE.

The project was to purchase and install a water purification system to provide clean drinking water for the 120 youth and 10 staff at the center.

Esayas reports:

I am happy to report that the project was successfully implemented. We now have a top of the line water purifying system placed in the orphanage kitchen.

Furthermore, we built a water fountain that youth can access anytime in the front of the orphanage.

We have bought a year’s supplies of filters for the orphanage as we had a little extra money left over due to the company giving us a discount once they found out that we were purchasing supplies for an orphanage.

Thank you for all of your support.

We wish to thank Esayas for completing this project, and again extend our gratitude to The Soneva SLOW LIFE Trust for providing the funding.
